So much for jumping right on my resolutions this year. Here we are half way into the second month and I am just now starting my families blog. This is a blog for us to use to help us to do a book at the end of the year. So much has already happened in the short time since the beginning of 2011.
Kelsi lost her first upper front tooth. She has already lost the front bottom ones. But she does this absolutely horrid look, she raises her bottom lip and hooks it under the only remaining front tooth so that it looks as if she only has on single, solitary tooth in her head. At these times we tell her that she belongs to the town of Sayre.
Bo will be one year at the end of this month, the 26th to be exact. He has grown this year in leaps and bounds. He is HUGE, but so darn cute. He is probably one of the happiest babies in the world. He is my cuddle bug. He loves to sit and "help" you rock your chair. He thinks that if he throws his body into you with enough force that he is actually the one that is moving the chair back and forth.
Which brings us to Kenzi, she turned two on November 26th, and man did she ever hit those terrible twos. She is a RIOT. She is so much fun, in one breath I often want to spank her, yet I am often fighting the urge to laugh out loud due to whatever new trick she has pulled out of her sleeve. And man has she started talking, with her mouth and her hands. She has quite the sign language vocabulary, thanks to our wonderful neighbor Debbi. Debbi teaches visually and auditory impaired children and is always teaching my signs to teach Kenzi. today as clear as a bell she looked at her brother and told him, "Bo, say Daddy." It was wonderful.
We did have our second snow day of the year today and the Kelsi was able to have a friend come and visit. That was so much fun, and useful as well. Kenzi and Bo in true younger sibling fashion tried their hardest to keep up with the older children and thoroughly wore themselves out. THANK GOODNESS!!! Mommy and Daddy are getting some good sleep tonight.
Jason is still working for Midcon and enjoying it. I of course am still a stay at home mom and would love to say that I love it. I am more stressed as a stay at home mom than I ever was as a nurse. Some days I cannot wait for the opportunity to join the working force again. I am still a closet photographer and I am getting better. I think that it is something that I would like to follow up on, though I am going to have to work on it alot harder. Jason and I are looking for houses now which has been a headache in itself...which is a blog post for a later day.
