Big Kitty

I guess that this month I have to make mention of the "Kitty". My father-in-law went to Idaho this month and bagged a kitty. This kitty weighed in at 175 pounds and was 7 1/2 feet from nose to tail. He was pretty excited.

The excitement only escalated when we started checking the record books and figured out that he may have a world record. Of course there is much that goes into this process. He has to wait for the skull bone to dry completely (60 days) and then contact "Official" measuring guys from both the Boone & Crockett and Safari Club to measure then he can send off to see if it is the biggest cat killed this year.

Though just the idea of him actually getting one that big was quite exciting, he just wanted the opportunity, and wasn't looking for a trophy.
