Jason has been sick this week and I, as any mother will tell you, it is easier to have a sick kid than a sick husband. I love my husband don't get me wrong but I do not remember the last time that my kids were sick and asked me to make them cheesy scrambled eggs at midnight. It is quite interesting to watch though, how the one who wears the pants in the family switches to a skirt so quickly with the development of a fever, cough and runny nose.
So today we took him to the doctor....thank goodness for insurance because for the doctor the visit was $140 (not sure what she did to deserve that kind of payment....maybe it is better if I don't ask) and $120 for some silly ear drops. It is a good thing that insurance picked up all but $20 of that or I might have just left him at the doctors office to offer her some payment instead. HAHAHA!!
She was a little older than him, I don't know if my lovely picky husband would have appreciated that.
